- Confirm which docs page owns the explanation for that workflow.
- Update both places when the product flow changes.
How to use this page
- The traceability matrix prevents hidden features from being missed.
- It is especially useful for settings pages, tier-based features, and shared shopper experiences.
Example
If a new field is added to payout settings, the matrix shows whether that change belongs in the settings guide, the payment guide, or both.
Tips and limits
- Keep route references user-focused. The goal is coverage, not developer detail.
- Shared workflows may still point to one main page if that page owns the clearest non-technical explanation.
