When to use this page

  • You need to choose, upgrade, downgrade, reactivate, or cancel an Affilyn plan.
  • You need to understand which plan includes a feature or how much program capacity is available.

Before you start

  • Install Affilyn in your Shopify store.
  • Open the app with a merchant account that can approve Shopify app charges.

Success looks like

  • You can choose a plan and billing interval using its price, features, and enforced limits.
  • You understand the one-time trial, Shopify approval, renewal, plan-change, and cancellation behavior.

Where to find it

Shopify admin → Apps → Affilyn → Plans & billing

Affilyn includes free access plus four paid merchant plans. Paid plans can be billed monthly, every 30 days, or yearly with one annual payment. All charges are denominated in USD and approved through Shopify.

Plans and prices

Use the Monthly / Yearly control in Plans & billing to compare billing intervals. Yearly pricing provides a plan-specific saving of up to 15% compared with making 12 monthly payments.

Trial and access without a paid plan

An eligible merchant's first approved paid subscription includes a one-time 3-day trial. Trial eligibility is tied to subscription history and does not reset by cancelling, reinstalling, or repeatedly changing plans.

Without an active paid subscription, a merchant can maintain one active partner, sync unlimited products, and create unlimited product affiliate links. Other plan features require active paid access.

Start or change a plan

  1. Open Plans & billing in Affilyn.
  2. Review the current subscription status, usage, plan limits, and complete feature comparison.
  3. Select Monthly or Yearly.
  4. Select the plan you want.
  5. Review the total charge and billing timing. Yearly is one annual payment, not a monthly installment.
  6. Complete the charge approval in Shopify.
  7. Return to Affilyn and confirm that the subscription status and billing interval reflect the approved plan.

Only one plan change can be pending at a time. An upgrade can require approval of a replacement subscription and normally takes effect after Shopify confirms it. Changing between Monthly and Yearly can also require approval of a replacement subscription. A downgrade is scheduled for the next billing cycle so the current paid access remains available through the current period.

Cancel or reactivate

Use Plans & billing to cancel the subscription. Cancellation is not prorated: paid access remains available through the current billing period, then the account returns to the access available without a paid plan.

Cancelling a subscription does not delete merchant, partner, storefront, or analytics data. To reactivate, select a plan and complete any Shopify approval shown by the app.

Troubleshooting

  • If a plan change is pending, complete or decline the open Shopify approval before starting another billing action.
  • If Shopify approval expired or was declined, return to Plans & billing and start the action again.
  • If a paid feature is unavailable, confirm the subscription status, current plan, billing interval, and plan limit usage.
  • If billing details cannot be verified, retry from Shopify admin and contact support if the status remains incorrect.
